Calm when learning. Immersive when practicing.
A warm, human system for a product that sits between a university LMS and a rehearsal room.

The mark
An open “A” with a single point at its heart — a person in the middle of a conversation. The crossbar is replaced by presence. Yellow tile on forest; forest tile on light surfaces.

Key UX decisions
The choices this prototype makes, and the assumptions behind them.
Practice is the front door
Home leads with one featured simulation, not a metrics wall. The question it answers is “what should I practice next?”
A call, not a chatbot
The live session borrows from video calling: a large framed character, captions, a control bar, and a collapsible side panel. Text mode keeps the same stage instead of switching to a chat log.
Always clearly AI
Every character carries an “AI” label in the briefing, the stage, and transcripts. Characters use licensed likenesses and never pose as real people.
No live score
Scores would bias the conversation, so learners see objectives during the session and coaching only after.
Provisional AI scoring
Debriefs label AI scores as provisional. Assessed results only count once an instructor reviews the transcript and rubric and approves them.
Text is first-class
Text mode is offered equally at briefing, can be switched mid-session, and supports keyboard shortcuts, captions and reduced motion.
Authoring without prompts
Scenario Builder uses character notes, “if the learner… then…” moments and rubric weights. Model and provider settings belong to org admins, not authors or learners.
Clear ownership
Every course shows its owner — your organization, the Academy library, or an external provider — so multi-org tenants and outside curricula stay legible.
What’s simulated in this prototype
AI conversations, voice, scoring and coaching are scripted. No audio or camera is captured. Uploads, exports, messaging and publishing show confirmations only. Data is fictional.
Try these flows
Home → Practice Studio → briefing → live simulation → coaching · My Learning → course → lesson → assigned simulation → submit · Switch to Instructor → review a submission → approve · Instructor → New scenario → five steps → save draft.
